But the fact remains the Trump will shoot demonstrators and attempt to deport 11 million (there will be resistance and they don’t yet have the capacity, but the damage to lives and to decency will be incredible), as I say in this brief video for Muslim voters

Campuses like Harvard are going to lengths to suppress protests against long Israeli Jim Crow and now the mass murder of civilians particularly women and children. (October 7th was a slaughter of 1200 civilians – a crime – by Hamas but what Israel now has murdered some 44,000 mostly women and children, with a vastly higher number under immediate threat, is technically genocide and has always involved ethnic cleansing…). Harvard forbids chalking on the sidewalks and now bars students and faculty members like Ryan D. Enos who protest silently in Widener Library about freedom of speech as a profound value in education from using the Library…
Michigan suspends nonviolent student demonstrators as Attorney General Nessel – in an abject betrayal of decency - gets in the act to “charge them with crimes”…
Many University and public officials already cooperate in small acts of fascism…
The corporate media have long sanctioned genocide in Gaza. But as Naomi Klein, Doppelgangersuggests, what the US arms abroad via settler-colonialism/invasion in the shadow lands – Israel itself - now comes home to the U.S. Just to be clear: the human rights of everyone, Jewish and Palestinian, Christian and Muslim, needs to be preserved in the Middle East. In frightening acts of anticipatory obedience - Timothy Snyder’s term for citizens’ cowardice in acquiescence to fascism - the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post and the Denver Post all novelly refused to take an editorial stand in the election. Money-seeking – Bezos – and the smell of fear...Decent people publically resigned from these papers and denounced this.
And now the Nazis rally again in Madison Square Garden, denouncing Puerto Ricans, blacks, women: degradation and mass murder their calling card…
Vote and Protest
In the spring, we will rise again, protest everywhere, and build toward shutting Washington down for a cease fire and to stop arms sales to the fascist Israeli government. The slogan ”jews with guns” has moved from a slow killing of the Palestinian population behind a wall – Jim Crow as TaNahisi Coates says in The Mission - to genocidal slaughter. This has been wrong from the start and now threatens world war.
Given the scale of the horror, most Americans understand the need for a cease fire and an end to arms for genocide. Let us make sure that we will not routinely be shot in the street or on campus when we protest against depraved policies.
Vote for Kamala Harris as if your life and those of your friends and family depend on it. They do.
