I am giving a virtual talk at George Washington’s house in Manhattan in 1776 – the Morris-Jumel house - on my book Black Patriots and Loyalists: Fighting for Emancipation in the War of Independence as well as the centrality of Invader Scots-Irish settlers being able to aggress in Ohio “beyond the Appalachians” and the heroism of Indigenous folks who fought back tomorrow, June 17, at 7 pm East Coast time.
